I'm Mosswyn Willowbane, and I created Willowbane because I remember what it feels like to stand at the beginning of a magical path and wonder where to put your feet.
When I first began exploring witchcraft, I didn't have someone to point me in the right direction or explain the foundations I needed before jumping into spells, rituals, tarot, deity work, and everything else that comes with discovering this path.
That's why I built this school: to create the starting place I wish I had.
🌿 Why I Teach
When I first began exploring witchcraft, I didn't have someone to point me in the right direction. I didn't have someone who could sit down with me and explain what I needed to understand before I started casting spells, creating rituals, reading tarot, or exploring deity work.
I had questions. A lot of them.
And honestly? There were times I felt like I was running around with my pants on fire trying to figure out how to be a witch. 😂
There was so much information everywhere, but very little that simply said, "You're new. That's okay. Here's where you begin."
🌙 Finding My Way
My own journey taught me that learning witchcraft isn't about memorizing a list of rules or trying to become the "perfect" witch. It's about learning, questioning, practicing, paying attention, and discovering what resonates with you.
Along the way, I discovered how powerful it can be to have someone willing to explain the foundations, answer the questions you are afraid to ask, and remind you that you are allowed to find your own path.
🕯️ Creating the Starting Place I Wish I Had
That's why I created the Willowbane School of Witchcraft.
I wanted to create a place where a beginner could walk in and say:
"I'm new. I don't know what I'm doing. Where do I start?"
And the answer would simply be:
"That's okay. Start here."
🌿 What I Hope to Give My Students
My goal isn't to tell you exactly what your practice has to look like. Witchcraft is personal, and every person will find different practices, traditions, tools, and beliefs that speak to them.
What I want to give you are the foundations and the confidence to explore those things for yourself.
I want my classroom to be a place where questions are welcome, curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are part of learning, and nobody is made to feel foolish for being new.
Sometimes all someone needs at the beginning of a journey is another person willing to light the first lantern.

✨ A Little About the Teacher
I'm Mosswyn Willowbane, and teaching is one of the ways I get to share something that has become deeply meaningful to me.
I believe learning should feel approachable. It should leave room for laughter, curiosity, mistakes, questions, and those wonderful moments when something suddenly clicks.
Most importantly, I believe being a beginner isn't something to be embarrassed about. Every experienced practitioner was once standing exactly where a beginner stands now: at the beginning, wondering what comes next.
